Tinda: This belongs to the squash family. It has a few cooling properties and is easy to digest also aids in combating gastric issues such as acidity. It is low in calories and nourishes the body with the goodness of Vitamin C, A, Iron, Thiamine and Niacin.”

Lemon:  Lemon packed with Vitamin C not only boosts our immunity, battling heat stroke and dehydration but also fills in energy. Broccoli: High in essential antioxidants, it contains more Vitamin C than an orange –which helps you maintain that glow on your skin! It can significantly reduce bad cholesterol levels and enhance good cholesterols.

Watermelon: Staying hydrated is the most important thing during summers. Watermelon despite having high water content (the fruit is 92% water) can make a really filling snack. And it gets better – as it is also an amazing source of lycopene; a powerful antioxidant that helps protects the skin from UV damage.

Bananas: Bananas are the perfect healthy carbohydrates to fuel a summer workout, with the extra perk of mood-enhancing tryptophan alongside.
