About Dr. Gaurav Dixit

Dr. Gaurav Dixit completed his MBBS and MD in General Medicine from PGIMS Rohtak in 2008. Following his senior residency in General Medicine, he joined the Department of Clinical Hematology at AIIMS, New Delhi in 2011, where he developed a keen interest in the diagnosis and treatment of blood disorders.

In 2012, he pursued a DM in Hematology at the renowned CMC Vellore, home to one of India’s leading hematology departments. During his three years at this high-volume transplant center, he gained extensive experience and completed his training in 2015.

Dr. Dixit has since held key roles in several prestigious institutions. He served for four years each at Max Hospital, Shalimar Bagh, and Action Cancer Hospital, where he played a pivotal role in establishing bone marrow transplant programs. He also spent three years at Artemis Hospital, where he initiated the CAR T-cell therapy program.

In 2020, Dr. Dixit earned a professional certificate in Multiple Myeloma from the Mayo Clinic, USA. He is known for his strong clinical judgment, scientific insight, and commitment to evidence-based care. Staying abreast of the latest global advancements, he consistently adheres to international treatment protocols.

Currently, Dr. Dixit is the Associate Director of Haemato-Oncology & Bone Marrow Transplant at Paras Health, Gurugram. His special interests include leukemia, myeloma, lymphoma, and aplastic anemia. A respected teacher and mentor, he has significantly contributed to every department he has been a part of.

A member of several national and international medical organizations, Dr. Dixit remains actively engaged in academic exchange and collaborative care. Notably, in October 2022, he successfully performed Kenya’s first bone marrow transplant.
